Apple Notes

That meeting-notes loop is one of the highest-value upgrades for students and knowledge workers who previously recorded in Voice Memos and retyped highlights by hand. Compared with Obsidian, Bear, Notion, Craft, or OneNote, Apple Notes wins on price and Continuity, not on plugin ecosystems or cross-platform parity. For Apple-only users who want capture, scan, collaborate and now Markdown/exportable audio notes without another seat, it is the default to beat. The honest caveat: if your team lives on Windows laptops or needs relational databases, start the evaluation with Notion or OneNote and use Notes as the personal capture layer that exports Markdown when a note graduates.
